Long Island man charged in uncle’s murder

NEW YORK (PIX 11)– A Long Island man is in jail and charged with killing is uncle and then burying him in his backyard.


Jonathan Roman arrested in uncle’s murder

Police say 42 year old Jonathan Roman got into an argument with his uncle outside of his home in Coram.

It’s not clear how the 71 year old was killed, but Roman buried him behind the house.

The victim’s son in Florida reported his father missing last Saturday.

It took police nearly a week to find the body.

Roman has pleaded not guilty, but is being held in Nassau County Jail.
