NEW YORK (PIX11) — More than 2.3 million people worldwide are affected by multiple sclerosis, also known as MS  But so far, there is not a cure.

And with March being MS Awareness Month, Dr. Steve is focusing on just who is affected and how to recognize the symptoms.

Many of us could be living with it right now and not even know it.

Dr. Armisted Williams from the Tisch MS Research Center and Nadia Johnson, who was diagnosed with MS two years ago, joined us to talk about recognizing the symptoms of the disease and how we can help raise awareness.

Nadia will be holding a fashion show fundraiser Friday called Strut for MS Awareness, being at Woodland NYC in Brooklyn.

All proceeds will go to the MS Foundation. For more information, contact Nadia at 347-634-3451.
