Police told PIX11 News, the threat is not credible. The Department of Education said in a statement, “We are aware of an online threat at the three schools and we are working with NYPD.”

Law enforcement officials told PIX11 the threat was an older threat that had been reposted.

There will be police coverage at the schools on Friday, education officials told PIX11.

The intelligence division is investigating; it is still unknown who posted it.
