‘We’re destroyed’: Family of bus driver killed in senseless accident seeks answers

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Family and friends will say their final goodbye to the city bus driver killed in a collision with a stolen truck in Greenwich Village.

A funeral service will be held Thursday for 49-year old William Peña.

He was killed last week when Tyson Beckford’s nephew, Dominic Whilby, allegedly slammed into his bus with a stolen truck.

Both vehicles crashed into nearby scaffolding, killing Peña and injuring four others.

Peña’s brother Eriberto, talked about his family’s pain with the PIX11 Morning news.
