NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — A man at Chris Christie’s first town hall since the “Bridgegate” scandal erupted had some choice advice for the governor: Destroy all of his Bruce Springsteen CDs.

“He’s not a friend to you, Governor,” the man said as the crowd laughed and cheered.

The constituent was referring to a skit the New Jersey born Springsteen did with comedian Jimmy Fallon, in which the pair sing about Christie’s growing scandal over lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.

Christie, however, was hopeful that he and Springsteen could be friends again one day.

“I still live in hope that someday…he’s gonna wake and go, ‘He’s a good guy, right? We could be friends,'” Christie said.
