NEW YORK (PIX11) – We give thanks on Thanksgiving, make merry on New Year’s and dress up on Halloween — but Valentine’s Day is the only day of the year that reserves happiness for non-single people.

And while many single people dread Feb. 14th — with most us either wishing we had somebody, scrambling to find a date or pretending that we don’t care — we often forget the principal reason we are single in the first place.  Check out this video by Paul Gale Comedy, titled “The Truth About Being Single” for more on this so-often-forgotten obstacle to a happy Valentine’s Day:
