NAPA, CALIFORNIA (PIX11)– A California woman and her boyfriend were arrested after allegedly beating her three-year-old daughter to death and telling police they stored her inside a suitcase and then a freezer for three days.

Sara Krueger, 23 and Ryan Scott Warner, 26 were charged Feb. 4 with murder and assault on a child resulting in Kayleigh Slusher’s death, according to court documents.

Slusher was found dead on her bed on Feb.1 by Napa police conducting a welfare check after an anonymous tip told them to check in. The couple was spotted leaving Saturday morning but was arrested the next day at a train station in Cerrito, Calif.

Court documents show that after being transferred to the custody of Napa police, the couple admitted to hiding Kayleigh’s body.

Police said the toddler suffered from blunt-force trauma and appeared to have been sexually assaulted.

Kayleigh’s father, Jason Slusher, 33 is serving a prison sentence in San Quentin.

Such a shame. I hope they put Ryan Scott Warner in the same call as Jason Slusher for some payback. Too bad it doesn't work like that. And Sara Krueger should just get the death penalty for this.

RIP little baby. Mommy dearest needs to be put to death along with her boyfriend Ryan. What possessed them to do this? WTF? Story doesn't say why.
