Broncos player shares heartwarming text with son after Super Bowl loss

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (PIX11) — After a heartbreaking Super Bowl loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillip’s shared a comforting exchange he had with his son.

After the game, Phillip’s sent his son a text message saying, “Sorry I let you down.” His son, Jaylen, adorably replied with, “It’s ok daddy u r still my hero.”

The footballer tweeted the texts to his over 400,000 followers with the message, “Sorry we let you guys down. Messages like this is the I my thing that make me feel better.”

“Well at least we get to hang out now,” Philips replied to his son.

The tweet has been retweeted and shared over 7,000 times.
