NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — A New Jersey family is selling the right to name their baby.

The Jewish family posted their ad on the Central Jersey Craigslist last week.

The ad stated they had just given birth to their ninth child, a girl, and are taking bids starting at $20,000 on her name.

The family says the winning bidder will be like family and will be invited to all the big events in the child’s life.

“This is an excellent opportunity for someone who does not have children, or someone looking to honor a relative, or even to honor someone who was killed in the Holocaust,” the ad read.

The family is hoping for a religious name and will not accept anything wacky.

The ad has since been removed for violating Craigslist terms of service.
