NEW YORK (PIX11) – In a tragic twist, the brother of a jogger who was found in Prospect Park and later died, has also died after suffering a heart attack during a run in Central Park.
Peter Berry, 60, died of a heart attack January 19th while running in Central Park. Just ten days before, Berry identified his brother, Rynn, 68, who was found lying in Prospect Park after collapsing while jogging on New Year’s Eve.
Rynn Berry, who did not have any identification on him, lay for several days in Park Slope’s Methodist Hospital before he was identified.
Both brothers lived healthy lives, according to those who knew them; Rynn Berry was a respected author and vegetarian who wrote extensively on the subject. Charles was an avid yoga practitioner who ran in multiple New York City marathons, his former wife told DNAinfo.
