PIX WEATHER CENTER– The forecast for Monday is not too bad but it will be the last time we talk about seasonable temperatures for this week.

A cold front will push through the area Monday night with a couple of rain or snow showers.

Frigid temperatures will arrive after that and last through Friday.

Daytime highs will be mostly in the teens to near 20 and nights will be forcing us to layer up against the lows in the single digits.

So the cold will be back how about snow? Latest weather maps are trending towards a snowfall for the Tuesday into Tuesday night time frame.

Depending on which models and data we look at, it could turn into enough to bring out the plows and shovels.

There is very little consensus among weather maps but it appears there is yet another chance on Thursday and again during the upcoming weekend.

There is no doubt that this is going to turn into a wintry week.
