Woman attacked in Morningside Heights subway station in broad daylight

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) — Authorities are on the hunt for a brazen sexual predator that attacked a woman at a Harlem subway station in broad daylight.

Cops say the man truck at 3:30 in the afternoon last Saturday as the 36-year-old woman was exiting the Cathedral Parkway and 110th Street No. 1 train subway station in Morningside Heights.


Cops say this man tried to rape a woman at a busy Morningside Heights subway station.

The man attempted to pull the woman’s pants down in the middle of the street, according to police. She was able to fight her attacker off and he ran off.

The suspect is described as about 35-years-old, 6-feet tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black cap, black sneakers and a waist length black jacket.
