FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (PIX11) — There are more troubling allegations against the Queens school dubbed the “worst” in New York City.

The Department of Education sent two special investigators to PS 106 in Far Rockaway after reports of mismanagement and neglect.

There are now reports that the Principal Marcella Sills forced students to pay $110 to dress up in formal gowns and tuxedos for a school ball — the same school that is lacking proper textbooks for students.

“We’re struggling,” one parent told the New York Post. “The principal made it clear: If you didn’t pay to attend, you didn’t attend graduation. And my kid works so hard, so I did what I had to do.”
