STATEN ISLAND (PIX11) — Road problems in Staten Island are giving drivers quite a headache.

Ilya Meltser’s new Maxima suffered two flat tires and rim damage thanks to  gaping potholes on the Staten Island Expressway.

The Expressway had to be partially shut down today to make the pothole repairs.

These troublesome craters meant the nearby all tire Good Year repair center had to extend their Sunday hours to keep up with their customers flats.

Looming craters also caused problems in the Bronx giving several cars flat tires.
