NEW YORK (PIX11) – Two lanes of the George Washington Bridge will be closed for emergency repairs, according to the Port Authority.
Two upper-level westbound lanes were shutdown Monday morning as crews work to repair a section of the upper-level deck.
The Port Authority estimates the lanes will reopen at about 2 p.m.
The closures will impact those commuting from New York to New Jersey. Commuters are advised to take alternate routes, such as the Lincoln or Holland tunnels.
