Mysterious woman spotted at funeral for baby found in trash in Westchester

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. (PIX11) — A woman was reportedly “acting strange” at the funeral of Baby Angel has been cleared as being a person of interest in the case.

The woman was seen in surveillance video released on Friday walking into the infant’s funeral mass before quickly leaving.

Lohud.com reports that the woman voluntarily came in for an interview with detectives on Saturday.

Police say the woman went to the church looking for a bible study class. When she realized there was a mass going on she left.

The newborn was found dead at an Elmsford recycling center on Nov. 12 under a pile of cardboard.
