GREEN BROOK,  N.J. (PIX11) -– In 2003, Danny Paltjon was left paralyzed after he slid into third base head first, during an adult baseball game. Although it changed his family life, it never broke his spirit or his willingness to help others.

For the past four years he and his family have been holding a Christmas tree sale in Green Brook, NJ, where all of the proceeds go to local children with cancer, as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Danny has since moved to Florida, but continues to fly up every year for the sale.

The sale takes place Saturday, Dec 7th from 12 pm – 9 pm and Sunday, December 8th from 10 am – 7 pm at 235A Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ.

A second sale benefiting the cause is taking place at Malanga’s Farm & Greenhouses in Warren, NJ through the holidays.
