Cops say the Hansen and Bey were running a seven-day a week operation out of the Harlem apartment.

NEW YORK (PIX11) –  Two alleged drug kingpins have been indicted for running a notorious marijuana operation out of a Harlem apartment, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and special narcotics prosecutor Bridget G. Brennan announced Friday.

Mark Hansen, 25, and Manuel Bey, 26, were arrested and slapped with multiple charges for running what cops say was a seven-day a week drug operation out of the apartment, which is located across the street from a playground at Marcus Garvey Park. The bustling drug business operated from about 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., cops say, and customers would line up in the first floor hallway of the building.

Authorities say over $35,000 in marijuana, four guns, $21,000 in cash, two pitbulls and a large python were seized from the East 124th Street apartment.

Hansen’s wife and Bey’s brother were also arrested in the bust.
