PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. (AP) — State police say they’re investigating the deaths of three people in a Hudson Valley town, including two whose bodies were found in a vehicle parked outside a supermarket.

Troopers say they found the bodies in the vehicle after responding around 8:30 a.m. Thursday to the A&P supermarket in the Dutchess County town of Pleasant Valley, 75 miles north of New York City.

Police say they later found a third person dead at a second location in the town of 9,000, located just north of Poughkeepsie.

Authorities say there’s no reason to believe there’s a threat to public safety.

No other information has been released. State police have scheduled a 4 p.m. news conference at the Pleasant Valley firehouse.
