The people who say they left the tip are speaking out, and a new report is questioning Dayna Morales’ story.  See it Here

NEW YORK (PIX11) – She served her country as a Marine and has served restaurant customers for more than a decade, but Dayna Morales got the surprise of her life from one of her customers last week at the Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

Instead of a tip, the family left her a shocking note on the $93 check saying, “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with what your lifestyle and how you live your life.”

Morales said she assumed that because of the way she looks,  the customers assumed she was gay. “Purely on looks, pure on assumption and perspective,” she told the PIX11 Morning News.

By the time Morales released the note she had received, the customers had already left the restaurant. She then sent the note to her manager, Byron LaPola. “I couldn’t believe something like that would actually happen,” Byron said.

Morales said the outpouring of support she has received from strangers has been overwhelming and she has been sent in total about $2,000 from supporters.
