NEW YORK (PIX11) – The Port Authority is warning of ‘significant’ delays while they work to repair damages to the upper level.
Two of the four upper level eastbound lanes, along with one of the lower level eastbound lanes are being closed for emergency repairs through Tuesday morning. The work is being done to repair a hole on the upper level.
Commuters coming from New Jersey to New York are being urged to take the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels. Another option is the lower level, but delays should be expected.
Drivers traveling from New York to New Jersey tonight will not be affected.
