Washington Heights, Inwood seeing surge in burglaries

Uptown, police have a burglary-robbery spree on their hands and a $5,000 reward is being offered to put a stop to it.

Investigators say seven hot spots in Washington Heights and Inwood have been hit within days of each other.

The suspects have stolen anything and everything — cash, safes, booze, cameras, DJ equipment and surveillance equipment.
