Suspect sought in Brooklyn rape attempt

New York (PIX11) – Police in Brooklyn are looking for a man who tried to rape a woman.

A Good Samaritan jumped in to stop the attack early yesterday morning on a street in Bushwick.

The victim was walking along Graham Ave. near Scholes St. when she was grabbed from behind, thrown to the ground, striking her head on the pavement.  The 27-year-old woman is in stable condition at Woodhull Hospital.

The suspect is described as a male black in his early 30’s, 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds with short hair and clean shaven.
