NYC public schools not making the grade according to new report

A new report reveals that New York City public schools are not living up to the standards it sets for its students.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress finds that only 32% of New york public school eight graders are proficient in math and just 35% are proficient in reading.

PIX11 decided to quiz some parents Friday morning with some questions their children may face in the classroom.
