Mario Cernas was arrested in his home for his terroristic tweet.
NEW YORK (PIX11) – A Bay Shore teen was arrested Wednesday after a message on his Twitter feed promised a killing at a local soccer game.
Around 6 p.m., detectives were alerted of 19-year-old Mario Cernas’ tweet saying there would be a shooting at his High School’s soccer game at the Dowling College Sports Complex.
Mario Cernas sent out these chilling tweets Wednesday night.
The teen was arrested in his Bay Shore home around 6 p.m for making a terroristic threat, a class D felony.
He is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
