A chill enters the air heading into the weekend

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Skies are clearing out this evening as high pressure starts roll in. Winds are for the northwest and gusting to 30 mph at times. Temperatures have been falling since this morning into the 40s. Overnight lows will bottom out at around 40 degrees tonight.


Skies will partly to mostly sunny tomorrow. Temperatures will only climb to around 50. With the cool breeze, it may only feel like lower 40s.


Saturday will start out as a sunny day but a fast moving system starts moving in late in the day. Cloud will roll in through afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 50s.

The warm front lifts through area by Sunday allowing temperatures to moderate into the mid 50s. Winds will, however, pick up once again from the west.

For Veterans Day, the cold front should pass early in the day. Temperatures will go back into the lower 50s under partly sunny skies.
