THE BRONX (PIX11) – A woman was brutally assaulted and robbed in the lobby of her own Bronx building, and police are now looking for her attacker.

The 37-year-old had just gotten home from work at 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 30, when a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt walked through the door behind her, grabbed her, and threw her to the ground.

She fought back, though, and police say the mugger left with her cell phone, but was unable to take her purse.

She suffered minor injuries in the attack.  The suspect, last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and blue jeans, was last seen running from the Gleason Avenue building.
