Cops seek suspects in subway screwdriver stabbing attempt

MOUNT EDEN, Bronx (PIX11)–  Police are looking for two men they say assaulted a 45-year-old man in the Mount Eden Section of the Bronx.

The incident took place on Saturday afternoon on the northbound D train platform at the East 170th Street Grand Concourse Station.

Investigators say the pair approached the victim and started beating on him.

A man wearing a black du-rag punched him in the face, while a man in a rainbow-colored clown wig tried to stab the 45-year-old with a screwdriver.

The suspects fled the scene after the attack.

The victim was not seriously injured.
