Nate Kraynak posed for a picture in front of the finish line he can’t wait to cross for the first time Sunday. The 26-year-old from old from Philadelphia was one of tens of thousands of runners registered for last year’s marathon which was cancelled because of Superstorm Sandy.

Marathoners took advantage of the beautiful weather Saturday, jogging or strolling around the last stretch of the 26.2 mile course, many of them reflecting on April’s Boston Marathon bombing.
