Fire prevention tips that could save your life

Since October 25th, 10 people in our area, from Brooklyn to the Bronx to Westchester, have died in house fires. John Murray, Chief Instructor of the Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center in Uniondale, offers up fire prevention tips that could save your life.

With daylight savings time on Sunday, November 3rd, we’re also reminded to change our smoke detectors. To help spread the word, the Nassau Country Firefighters Museum and Education Center is giving away free smoke detectors for every family with admission.
