Chilly night ahead but relief may be in the forecast

It’s going to be another chilly night with temperatures going down to around 40 for the city. Temperatures for the surround suburbs will be generally be in the 30’s. A Freeze Warning is effect for Orange, Putnam, Fairfield and Passaic counties for the overnight period. As previously stated before any plants that are still outdoor are to be put indoors or covered.


By tomorrow morning, it’ll be a sunny with chilly with temperatures in the mid 40s. Some clouds will develop in the afternoon and highs will reach in the lower 50s. The winds may once again pick up into the afternoon making it feel rather cooler.


The weekend will continue to stay dry with temperatures moderating somewhat into the upper 50s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Winds will continue to be factor on Saturday but it should let up by Sunday. While temperatures are still cooler than average, the winds will do a slight shift from the northwest to west making it fell more comfortable.
