President Obama to visit P-TECH High School in Brooklyn Friday

NEW YORK (PIX11) – President Obama will be in New York Friday, visiting a Brooklyn high school and attending two Democratic events.

Stated in a press release from the White House, Obama will be visiting Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) to “discuss the importance of ensuring that the next generation of middle class American workers and entrepreneurs have the skills they need to compete and win in a global economy.”

The President mentioned P-TECH in a State of the Union address in 2012, calling it a model for education reform.

Obama will also be speaking at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser and attending Democratic National Committee event.
