HEMPSTEAD, Long Island (PIX11)
– Police are investigating after receiving a call of a dead baby found at a Hempstead sanitation facility Tuesday.
According to a police source, a worker was emptying trash at the Bay Blvd. dump when he says he discovered remains of a baby’s body.
Police were called at 2:21 p.m., according to Newsday, and police have yet to confirm whether or not the remains were found at the facility.
A police investigation is ongoing.
