BROOKLYN (PIX11)– Say cheese! A smartphone app captures a picture of a man using a stolen cellphone.

On Tuesday October 15th at 6:15 p.m. a man boarding the 25th Street subway station realized his phone was taken from him.

Once on the southbound “R” train the 39-year-old victim used an application on another persons cell phone that allowed him to view a picture of the person who had his phone.
