Biker involved in SUV driver beating arraigned


NEW YORK (PIX11) – Another biker has been arrested in the brutal beating of an SUV driver bringing the total number of arrests up to eight , police said.

Kaliq Douglas, 28, of Brooklyn,  was arrested and charged on Friday with gang assault and assault to cause serious injury.

Police say Douglas was part of a group of bikers that attacked an SUV on the Henry Hudson Parkway on Sept. 29. Several bikers surrounded the Range Rover and dragged the driver Alexian Lien out of the window where they beat him in front of his wife and child.  Seven people including undercover NYPD Det. Wojciech Braszczok have been accused in the case.

Douglas has no prior arrests. His bail was set at $25,000.
