The start of the weekend will be mostly sunny during the morning hours of Saturday. Clouds, associated with an approaching cold front, will increase through the afternoon. Temperatures will still be on the mild side with highs in the upper 60s.

A few light showers could develop as early as Saturday evening and could last through the wee hours of Sunday morning. Generally, we are once again expecting light amounts. Temperatures will be at around 50 degrees.

Skies will clear out quite rapidly on Sunday. With the frontal passage and Canadian high moving in, winds could be gusty into the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 60s, which is typical for this time of the year. Weatherwise, the Jets game will go on without a hitch.

As we head into next week, we are watching an area of low pressure offshore that has a chance for giving us some showers on Tuesday, but the odds at this point are low. There has been a dip in the jetstream for the central US giving much cooler temperatures for this time of the year. As week progresses, we are expecting the jet to shift eastward by the middle of next week. While we dont expect the overnight lows in the city to be in the 30s, we do think the possibility of high temperatures not being able to reach the 60s a good bet.
