NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – NJ Transit service along the Montclair-Boonton Line is still suspended between Newark Broad Street and Bay Street after power lines fell near Watsessing Avenue in Bloomfield.

Tickets will be cross honored on NJ Transit and DeCamp buses; additional buses are running between Newark Broad Street and Bay Street stations.

PSE&G and Comcast crews are currently on the scene trying to repair the downed lines, which were apparently damaged by a tree trimmer who was working on private property, according to a New Jersey Transit spokesman.

Crowding should be expected during rush hour, and passengers are encouraged to check njtransit.com for updates.
