In the New York City mayoral race, Joe Lhota is ripping into Bill de Blasio’s comments on how he would handle the biker beat down situation.

De Blasio said he would dispatch cops to warn the bikers about violence and disrupting traffic.

But, Lhota says the decision to have the NYPD to sit down and have coffee with the bikers is not how you keep New York City safe.

The former MTA chairman says de Blasio’s “naive and reckless” views on policing will allow crime to make a vicious comeback.
