Missing Boy Close

Missing non-verbal autistic boy Avonte Oquendo has not been found in Harlem, police say, after initial reports that he was safe.

Police believed that had found the missing 14-year-old Queens boy in an East Harlem CVS store, but after further investigation officials confirm it was not him.

Oquendo was last seen leaving Center Boulevard School around 12:30 p.m., it is unclear why he was able to walk out of the school alone.

This is a developing story.

no he was not found.. but thanks to the first story you guys reported tons of people are posting on social medias that he was found. and thats the last thing we want. We need everyone out looking for this poor little boy who's been missing since friday. who is unable to communicate and ask for help. Come on people this could be one of your children. i'd hope that WB11 news will mention quite a few times through out their news coverage that he wasn't found and that people should keep looking!
