Out of all the reactions to the motor-psychos and their savage beating of a man in front of his wife and child, there’s one fact that still sticks with me and astounds me like nothing else. And that’s where were all the cops? We live in a city wherein every square inch of it is covered by cameras.

We’re wired for sound. And if you live here you will at times be amazed at the sites of seemingly endless phalanxes of New York’s finest in formation with lights on. Just look at occupy Wall Street and the UN General Assembly meeting.
