(PIX11) — The chill that started Monday will stick around for one more night.

With no wind and chilly temperatures, the National Weather Service has issued Frost Advisories for many of the northern suburbs. Outdoor plants that are susceptible to the cold should be covered or taken indoors.

High pressure will be right over us Wednesday, with temperatures, while still cooler than average, returning to the 70s.


Winds will shift to the west into the latter half of the work week. Temperatures will moderate to the upper 70s by Friday.

Saturday will be OK despite some increasing clouds There could be a chance for some showers late in the day, but the greatest probability won’t occur until late at night and into Sunday. Temperatures will reach the lower 70s both days.
