When asked about the new season of her hit  televison show “Nashville,” it was “mum’s the word” for actress Hayden Panettiere.  She didn’t  give up a drop of the plot line to PIX11’s anchors Sukanya Krishnan and Kirstin Cole.  Panettiere did have plenty to say about her partnership with Cotton to put old denim to good use.

The average American owns seven pairs of jeans but tens of thousands of them are discarded each year.  The Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program is unique – it upcycles old jeans into UltraTouch Denim Insulation.  This denim insulation, with a portion, approximately 250,000 square feet provided to communities in need each year (mainly Habitat for Humanity affiliates), is composed of 85 percent recycled cotton fibers.  It is environmentally safe, has 30% better sound absorption, resists mold and mildew and doesn`t contain any volatile organic chemicals.
