He’s a rebel with a cause and this time, the cause is hunger on Long Island.
Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has organized a special event to help people who are in need.
Snider, a long time resident of Long Island, was deeply moved by the struggle Long Islanders endured after Superstorm Sandy and wanted to provide relief.
The Dee Snider’s Ride to Fight Hunger will benefit the Long Island Cares charity.
Snider says, “Even without Sandy, there is so much work to be done right here at home.”
Registration for the event opens at 9 a.m. and the ride will start at 11 a.m Sunday at Lido Beach park.
