These guys are a real-life group of New York investigators working free of charge looking into claims of UFO sightings and close encounters.

Jed Turnbull is the clinical advisor of NY-SPI. He said the experiences reported to him are eerily similar.

“Lifted up into a craft at some sort, very consistent with this,” said Turnbull.

On July 15th, 2001 in Carteret, New Jersey, a number of people reported seeing something.

Cars pulled over on the New Jersey Turnpike. People called police.

This team has worked on that case — it was one of their largest.

“There was probably more than one object because certain people did see individual lights flying in different directions,” said  Dennis Anderson, Astronomical Advisor & UFO Historian for NY-SPI.

They are always researching a new claim, but does the NY team really believe we’re not alone out there?

“Oh there are UFO’s. UFO’s are unidentified flying objects..flying saucers?

That’s a different question,” said Oliver Kemenczky Founder & Scientific Advisor, NY-SPI.

They use scientific methods to research their claims.
