NYC corrections officer arrested in Brooklyn arson

A 43-year old correction officer was arrested Thursday night after she was charged with arson for setting a fire in a Brooklyn building yesterday morning.

The officer thought a former boy friend lived in the building so she took gasoline and poured it on the staircase, police said.

Firefighters removed 11 people from this home that was on Chauncey Street
