Worker at Hamptons restaurant gets Hepatitis A; customers urged to get vaccinated

(PIX11) — The Suffolk County Health Department is investigating after a worker at a restaurant was diagnosed with Hepatitis A.

Health officials say anyone who ate at the drivers seat’ restaurant in Southampton between Aug. 16 and 20 may have been exposed to the virus.

Customers can get vaccinations from 9-am to 4-pm Friday at the Health Department in Great River and from 3-pm to 6-pm at Southampton Hospital.

And vaccinations will be offered Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Southampton Hospital.
