Getaway Friday should feature no travel headaches locally. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny tomorrow as high pressure will be in control tomorrow. Highs will be around 80.

If you’re traveling beyond the Northeast tomorrow, the biggest travel spot would be in the Great Lakes where there are a couple of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and could cause some delays.

Saturday will be a mix of sun and clouds.  With high pressure moving offshore, the southerly flow will allow the humidity to rise.  There will be an outside chance of shower, but the odds slim. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

A warm front will start to move in from the west. That could give the chance for a few showers across the area during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

On Labor Day, a cold front will approach the region and produce some showers and thunderstorms mainly during afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
