Church of Scientology headed to East Harlem

(PIX11) – The church of Scientology is coming to East Harlem.

According to the Daily News, the church is building a multimillion-dollar facility on East 125th street between Second and Third avenues.

The building will reportedly include a 200-seat prayer space, a cafe and a dozen classrooms.

The facility will open next year.

The Los Angeles based church was founded in the 1950s by sci-fi writer l. Ron Hubbard.
