Transgender boy, 15, talks about his struggle and sympathy for Bradley Manning

15-year-old Rocky Sanabria knew at age 3 he was a boy living in a little girl’s body.  A year later,at age 4, he told his mother.

After being sentenced to 35 years for leaking classified documents, Army Private Bradley Manning came out as a transgender Thursday, and said he plans to live as a woman.

Sanabria is undergoing hormone therapy right now. Manning also wants to undergo hormone therapy and be referred to now as Chelsea. Sanabria can sympathize.

Rocky’s family is proud of how he has lived his life, and proud of the young man he has grown up to be.

Rocky just underwent a double mastectomy. He is planning an anti-bullying event this coming Fall.
