(PIX11) – Jennifer Lopez was sharing her $10 million Water Mill mansion with an alleged stalker of hers — and she had no idea.

Suffolk County police arrested 49-year-old John M. Dubis of Rhode Island for camping out in Lopez’s beach house for a week while she was away, Newsday is reporting.

Dubis — a retired firefighter — was arrested August 8 when workers called police to report a suspicious man on the property.

According to the New York Post, when one of the workers approached Dubis, he claimed to be J. Lo’s ex-husband. Dubis also told police that he was the father of the singer-actress’ children.

Neighbors said they had seen Dubis around the property, but assumed he was another worker.

Lopez had an order of protection against Dubis, although it is not immediately known why.

Dubis has been slapped with a handful of charges, including felony burglary and criminal contempt and misdemeanor stalking.

He is being held in Suffolk County jail on $100,000 and is due to appear in court August 28.

The Southampton Town court has ordered Dubis undergo a psychiatric evaluation to see if he’s mentally fit to stand trial.
